CH Barba Bagnata Tullia di Mia JH is a very well loved Spinone Italiano who resides in Seattle, WA. Tullia acquired her JH title with no training (her owners had no hunting experience!), and in the process of achieving her title learned some unfortunate habits that needed to be unlearned. She started working with Richard about once a week in April of 2006. Richard had never worked with a Spinone before and did not know what to expect. At the end of their first session together, he said, “Wow. This is a cool dog.” After eight sessions of working with Richard and her owner, Jamie, Tullia has made wonderful strides and shown more potential than we suspected she had! Tullia is a character at home, ruling the roost and making us laugh every day. She has her own website at Mezzaluna Spinoni.

Within the first six months after we brought our puppy home from his breeder’s, it was very clear that this puppy had way more capability and potential than either of us had knowledge and ability to develop. This is our first pointer, our first griff, our first well bred dog and neither of us had the first clue on how to train this dog. His list of accomplishments by age 2 (CH, CGC, CD, JH, NAVHDA NA Prize II) are a clear testimony that his breeding program worked. With the help of great friends like Richard and Laura, this wonderful dog may acheive some of his potential.

Nietzsche is now five and continues to amaze us every day.

Mikki is a field-bred gordon setter that we fostered. With the wonderful assistance of Columbia River Gordon Setter rescue,she is now in her forever home.
