MELCHRIS ROUGHRIDER, CGC		"Teddy," Melchris Roughrider, is our field-bred springer from Melchris Kennels. The photo at left shows him with his first shot bird at 5 months. He is sired by National Field Champion Eagle Brae's Good Sport, and Melchris Firefly, who is pointed towards her FC. At 11 months, Teddy is showing great promise as a field trial prospect.
Here are photos from Teddy' first hunting trip in Montana at 8 months. As you can see, Teddy's birds were bigger than he was, but he retrieved them with great heart and style.
